Owasso’s storm history and what it means for your roof
Owasso knows tornado season firsthand. On April 2, 2025, a high-end EF-1 tornado with winds around 100 to 110 mph hit the city and damaged an estimated 287 homes and businesses. The damage was serious enough that Owasso declared a state of emergency. A storm like that tears off shingles, drives debris into roofs, and leaves behind hidden damage that shows up later as leaks.
