Answers to the questions Tulsa-area homeowners ask us most about roofs, repairs, storm damage, and working with R&R Roofing and Construction. If your question is not here, call us at (918) 770-2400 and a real person will help.

Does R&R Roofing offer free inspections?

Yes. Every job starts with a free roof inspection. We get on the roof, take photos, and give you an honest report on its condition. If the roof is fine and needs nothing, we tell you that. If it needs work, we explain your options and the cost in plain terms before anything starts. Learn more on our roof inspections page.

How much does a new roof cost in Tulsa?

The price depends on the size and pitch of your roof, the material you choose, and how much damage or old material has to come off first. Because those vary from home to home, we do not quote a flat number online. After a free inspection we give you a written estimate for your specific roof. Financing is available if you would rather spread the cost out.

Is R&R Roofing licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed and insured, and we carry Oklahoma roofing license #80007251. Being insured protects you and your property if anything goes wrong during the job, and we are glad to provide proof before we begin work.

Are you a GAF Certified contractor?

Yes. R&R Roofing and Construction is a GAF Certified contractor. GAF is one of the largest roofing manufacturers in North America, and installing to their standards means your shingle system goes on the way the manufacturer intends, which helps keep the product warranty valid. You can read more on our warranty page.

How long does a roof last in Oklahoma?

A typical asphalt shingle roof lasts about 15 to 25 years, but Oklahoma weather can shorten that. Repeated hail, high summer heat, and winter freeze-thaw cycles all wear shingles faster than a milder climate would. That is why we suggest a check every few years and after any major storm, even if the roof looks fine from the ground.

Should I repair my roof or replace it?

It depends on the age of the roof and how much of it is affected. A few lifted shingles or worn flashing usually calls for a repair. Widespread hail bruising, aging across the whole roof, or repeated leaks often point to replacement. We walk you through the tradeoff honestly. Our guide on roof repair or replacement covers how to decide.

My roof was hit by hail. What should I do?

Start with an inspection. Hail damage is often hard to see from the ground, and it can shorten a roof’s life without leaving an obvious hole. We document what we find with photos, explain whether it is worth an insurance claim, and help you through the next steps. Read about storm damage repair and how we handle it.

Do you help with insurance claims?

Yes. We assist homeowners through the roof claim process. We inspect and document the damage, meet your adjuster on site, and speak the language of scope and line items so you are not guessing. We do not invent or inflate damage. Our insurance claims guide explains the process step by step.

How do I know if I have hail damage?

Common signs include dark spots where granules are missing, dented gutters and vents, and bruises you can feel on a shingle. Much of it hides from the ground, though, so the reliable way to know is a close look from the roof. Our page on storm and hail damage signs walks through what to watch for.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing is available so a needed roof does not have to wait for a perfect month. Ask us about the options when we come out for your inspection, and we will walk through what fits your budget.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Tulsa and a wide stretch of surrounding Oklahoma, from close-in suburbs like Broken Arrow, Bixby, Owasso, and Jenks out to towns such as Claremore, Bartlesville, Muskogee, and Stillwater. You can find your city on our service area page.

Do you install metal roofing?

Yes. A metal roof stands up well to wind and hail and lasts far longer than asphalt, though it costs more up front. We lay out the numbers both ways so you can decide with clear eyes. Learn more on our metal roofing page.

Do you install gutters?

Yes. We fabricate seamless gutters on site to fit your home. Good gutters move water off the roof and away from the foundation, which protects both the roof edge and the structure below. See our seamless gutters page for details.

Do you work on commercial buildings?

Yes. We handle commercial roofing as well as homes, from low-slope and flat systems to steep-slope commercial buildings. You can read more on our commercial roofing page.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Many typical homes are done in one to two days, but the real answer depends on the size and complexity of the roof and the weather. We give you a realistic timeline for your specific home before we start, and we clear the yard of nails and debris when we finish.

What warranty comes with a new roof?

A new roof carries two kinds of coverage: the manufacturer warranty on the shingles and a workmanship warranty on the installation. As a GAF Certified contractor, we can explain the coverage that applies to your roof and material choice. Call us for the specifics, or read our warranty page.

How soon can you come out after a storm?

Call us at (918) 770-2400 and we will schedule your inspection as quickly as we can. Storm seasons are busy, so the sooner you reach out after a hail or wind event, the sooner we can get eyes on your roof and document any damage while it is fresh.
